What information we receive
You can browse the website without creating an account. If you use the contact form, you may provide your name, email address, subject and message. The form also uses a simple maths check to reduce automated spam.
How contact messages are used
Contact details and message content are used only to read and respond to your enquiry, correction, suggestion or other website-related message. We do not sell contact details or use submitted messages to build marketing lists.
Email delivery
Messages submitted through the contact page are sent to go.volunteer.ua@gmail.com. Email delivery and storage are also subject to the policies of the email provider used to receive those messages.
Server logs
Like most websites, the hosting server may automatically record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and basic error or security information. These logs are normally used for website operation, security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not require an account or login cookie to read its public pages. If analytics, advertising or other third-party services are introduced later, this policy will be updated to explain what those services collect and how they are used.
External websites
Pages may link to museums, tourism organisations, government services, parks, businesses and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are outside our control, so their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
How long information is kept
We keep contact messages only as long as they remain useful for replying, following up a correction or maintaining the website. Routine server logs may be retained by the hosting provider according to its normal technical and security practices.
Your request
If you have previously contacted us and want us to correct or delete information you supplied in that message, email us and explain what you would like changed.
